December 15, 200718 yr I have a turkey twattle hanging down under my chin. Its been there a few years and seems to be getting more pronounced. I'd like to have it reduced or removed if possible. Any recomendations in CM for this procedure? How long is the recovery time, any one know? Is reduction or removal permanent or will it reappear again after a few years.
December 15, 200718 yr A small cut in the neck and no real discomfort later. The results seem to be pretty permanent. Dr. Poomey at Bumrundgrad is a true artist at cosmetic surgery. Heals up very quick. Go for It.

December 15, 200718 yr Far be it from me to correct anyones use of words, but I think it is Wattle rather than TWattle. The latter sounds a bit rude

December 16, 200718 yr but, but, but...'turkey twaddle' is no nicely alliterative...don't you think? "OK sweetheart, let's talk turkey...' 'I'll have none of your turkey twaddle, thank you very much...'
December 16, 200718 yr Had this procedure done in the US in 2000. Prior to this I had lipo under my chin, dr said skin would tighten up- I'm 55 -bullcrap! The chin lift (to eliminate turkey whatever) procedure requires cutting around your ears, separating your skin down around the chin/neck. Lifting the skin up around your ears and clipping off the excess. Closing the skin around your ears. Had to stay overnight, recovery enough in a month to go out. 6 months for full. No scars whatsoever, some numbness in some areas up to a year. 7 years and still looks great. There may be other procedures that go halfway. Very, very happy I did it. I got a curtesy discount (I worked in the medical field) price-$11,000.
December 29, 200718 yr The way I understand it cutting around the ears is a lower face lift. Which does include the neck, however the neck alone is a pretty simple procedure, in comparison. I don't remember for sure but I believe that my surgery at Bumrungrad was about 120,000 Baht for the neck tightening and a chin implant. They used the same small incision to do both. Go for it.
