What With This Current Flu Going Around?

I got hit with it on November 24Th, went to the pharmacy got the meds and finished them. I still have it. a new symptom of dizzeness some other friends experienced this as well. Not bird flu but one tough bugger.

Yeah, got that one too a couple of weeks back. Unusual fever pattern too as fever improved the 4-5th day but then spiked back up for another 1 day of high fever.

Another one doing the rounds makes your eyes red(the one above made them CLEAR as the fever was on). Not pinky-eye red, but close. Several of my friends got that one.

I've met a few students with it. Some really seem beat by it. It does seem to last.

I got it too. Luckily, not so hardly hit... maybe because I'm vaccinated (the flu vaccine sometimes doesn't prevent it but can lessen the effects).

I think I got it in the BTS.

Inconsiderate people who just cough or sneeze out in the open with little or no effort to cover themselves!

Interesting. I was off work for a couple of days because of dizziness and fever, but mostly because I was so dizzy. Then my husband got it and he was in bed for 3 days. Felt like the dizziness when you drink too much and then go to bed, he said.

My tongue also turned white and peeled the top layer of skin off right at the end of my dizzy spells. Don't know if that was connected or not.
