You pay the remaining 80 % on hand over Yes pretty much agree with Thaigene. It varies according to the project. Ours was: 1) Deposit/Booking fee: 100k 2) Downpayment on signing contract: brings 1) up to around 10% in total 3) Installments: Further 2 x 7.5%, bringing up to 25% in total 4) Final balance: 75% on transfer of ownership We bought late in the project and close to completion, so we negotiated to pay the the second installment of 7.5%, at the same time as the final balance, since the dates were close. i.e booking > 10%deposit> 7.5%installment no.1 > balance 82.5% additionals: - tax of 2% value. we split transferor/transferee 1% each - maintenance fee 1 year in advance @ THB 35/m2 per month = THB 420/m2 for 1 year. - sinking fund, one off THB 500/m2.
