Weight Bench And Loose Weights

Any recommendations on where to buy a decent quality weight bench (for bench press mainly), a bar, and some dumbells in the Pattaya area ?

I saw one at a sports shop for 10K, absolute crap quality.

I had this made.

Power rack is 3x3 posts and was around B10,000. Smaller posts of say 2x3 would be cheaper. I like 3x3 as is more sturdy. I've done squat walkouts/partials with 240kg no problem.

Flat/Incline bench B5000. Olympic bar B3500. Plates B60 per kg. Adjustable dumbell handles B2000 per pair. Handles will hold 100 lbs each.

So with delivery of everything including maybe 170kg of plates plus 200lbs for dumbells would run close to B40,000. Just a bench instead of a rack plus adjustable bench should be cheaper.

Plates are the killer. At B60 a kg the cost runs up quickly. In America the price is half or a third, a cheap Olympic bar and 300 lbs of weights can be bought for as cheap as $99 to $149.

Thanks for the reply, thats a nice setup indeed, but I was looking for something much more rudimentary (and cheaper) !
