According to the Dhamma grapevine, there will be a talk (in Thai) by Ajahn Pasanno, co-abbot of Abhayagiri Monastery, on Saturday January 19th at 2pm at Bangkok's Siam Intercontinental Hotel, 3rd floor Ballroom.

Did anyone attend the talk? I met Aj Pasanno in the late 80s when I stayed at Wat Pa Nanachat Beung Wai and he was the abbot, and I thought he was an excellent teacher. He may lack the humour of Ven Brahm and the charisma of Ven Amaro, to name two more popular monks who are both his junior (I believe, I could be wrong), but I appreciate his no-nonsense way of presenting the dhamma.
