Greek Food

Featured Replies

Art Cafe in Wong Amat used to serve pretty good Greek dishes, but it closed some time ago. Does anyone know of a restaurant in Pattaya which has Greek dishes on its menu?

I think you are out of luck.

The best you can do is Turkish or Iranian.

Not sure if A La Turca Authentic Turkish Cuisine off 2nd Road is still open, but I didn't find it very good anyway. There are some decent Iranian places now, if you don't know the food and you like Greek, you will probably like it (some similarities).

There is surely a demand for good Greek food here, or maybe not if that Turkish place failed.

BTW, I tried the moussaka at the Jerusalam Cafe in Chiang Mai (Sundays only I think) and it was an overly salty horror, with no proper bechamel on top.

The elegant but reasonably priced Paradis Iranian restaurant on 2nd Road across from the under construction View Talay has excellent kebabs and Persian rice with saffron. I still think Iranian food would satisfy alot of Greeky cravings. Also things like lamb shanks and stews with lentils and eggplant. Getting hungry now.
