Devastated!

I am not sure if you all are aware of me posting that my bumper light where nicked a few months ago.

That I almost drove over a 3 meter long snake while driving to KK (Khon Kean).

Today I got an even worser experience.

This is how it goes.

Left my car at the fuel station to get a good wash and cleaning inside.

I come there every time so the peeps know me.

So after half an hour I come to pick up me car.

Looked nice and clean.

Payed the 100 Thai Bath and gave the lady a 100 Bath tip ( Yes I do charity).

Got into my car and drove it to my office, just a few minute drive.

Arrived at my office and parked the car.

Went into my office and checked my mail and such and suddenly realised my phone was in my car, so I went back to my car with the intention to pick up my phone.

While walking towards my car I noticed something had changed the looks of my car.

Birdsh1t all over it!!!!

I never had this in my homecountry!

So now I have to wash it again and I feel there is a conspiracy (From Thai birds) against farang.

Do I need to leave this country as the message is very clear?

I had a little birdy do the dirty on top of my head while shopping once. But the lady at the stall was nice and gave me a bottle of water to clean my head and she gave me a discount on some DVDs!

She said that it was good luck when a bird poops on your head.

Isn't it interesting how, in most cultures, a bird sh1tting on you is good luck. It's the same in my home country of Ireland!

Alex, I think it is the Red Chinese marking your car for surveilence. What looks like bird poop leaves an infrared mark detectible with special equipment. They are obviously still after that prototype phone of yours.

Hey, it's good luck here to have birds shit on you (or your car, I suppose).

I was walking along with a friend in BK when "plonk", a huge glob of bird shit, landed on his shoulder. He just wiped it off smiled and said he should have some good luck coming and that maybe he should buy a lottery ticket.

The phone still works yes and the proto I also still have, not sure what to do with it.

Anyway went to a 2nd hand car dealer today and picked out my car that I had seen on the net, yes lucky it was still there.

Had to give a 50.000 deposit before I could make a testdrive.

But hel_l, what a car this is.

Had to sign about 50 documents, yes really.

Will post pictures after India, Korea and Kalasin mission that I have this month.

If there is no more post from me , you know what happened.....

Tommorow I am off to do whatever it takes to make this world a better place.

Then I am truly the luckiest man alive.

Multiple bombings over the years, and once by a very large seagull which had stored up at least 1/4 liter of gooey-white/black ammunition for his aerial feat upon previously unsullied personage. My high-school "buddies" wouldn't let me ride in the car because of the stink and I had to walk four miles to home. I earned the moniker "BSB" (Bird Shit Boy) which stuck with me until graduation from college.
