Doom 3 (do You Play?)

Featured Replies

Trying to get a translation of this slip of paper that came with the disks for the game Doom 3. There's a little slip of paper that comes with the two disks for this game and I can't decipher the info because it's in Thai. Can anyone tell me what it says. If you have this and know what I mean, please let me know. Thanks, Kringle

I can not find my Disks at the moment.

But if I remember right, there was a Keygen and after installing there was a .exe file (doom3.exe???) which has to be copied over the Original on the harddisk.

Both were in a folder called crack.

So start keygen. Than start installation. When you get asked for the key generate one.

After complete installation, copy that file from the crack folder over the orginal file on your harddisk and than it should work.

In generell I am always offline when installing some crap. Should not matter at doom3, but can not be wrong.

Anyway on my computer doom3 is a nice slideshow -- need new graphic card :o

Just started playing this Myself. great game. My computer slows down a bit running it but its still very playable.

Anyone for an internet game? :o

Greg

h90 spot on with the use of the crack.

You have to enter a serial with the key gen to get you going, then after you have installed, replace disc 1 and "explore"to find the crack folder again.Copt and paste into the installed directory.Restart after this.

I just finished the game, not the best I've played, but not bad, just moved on to Manhunt, bit of a sick game.

bartender100:

Manhunt is not my stile. Painkiller is OK, but I really loved Max Payne 2.

Far Cry was also OK.

Civilistation is my old love.

If someone knows some kinds of these games, let me know.

Civ must be also fun in Online if that is possible.

Shooters I do not play in Network, because I always loose.

But might be fun playing in the office with my 4 office computer, but most probably my wife would kill me, having 4 farangs, drinking beer shooting and smoking in her office :o

Yes I agree Max Paine 2 was great,I liked all the Star Wars, can't wait for Battlefront, you might enjoy Night of the old Republic cross between stratergy and shooter.Played Farcry as well, another fav. of mine was Elite Forces2 .

Anyone know where I can get hold of an ONLINE serial key? Obviously by not having to buy the original! It's easy to get the offline one but it would be more exciting online.Anyone accomplished this near impossible task?

jonboy,

Go buy an Nvidia 6800 GT video card online... Doom 3 comes free with it. :o

Civ 3 - you need to get the play the world add-on. It's available in Thailand at Thai prices (i.e. I think 4-500 baht, probably less as it's been out quite a while now...)

Half-Life 2 should be out November AFAIK. It's gonna have comparable graphics to doom but actually be a good GAME as well.

Halo2,is available on the net already apparently, ahead of its release,I have not looked for it yet.

Dissapointed in Stars War Battlefront, much more an on-line game, which I don't like.If you play in single, you just get thrown into the middle of endless battles.I like a story with puzzles, like previous SW

Pringle, did you get Doom to work ok?
