Where Can You Get A Decent Steak In Bangkok

Featured Replies

between soi 5 & 7 on sukhumvit opposite the Landmark.. I think the sign outside Landmark must refer to Checkinn.. you can get across the road there as the wire fence is down.

OR... you could actually walk half a block and cross at the traffic light!!!

Or - just use the pedestrian bridge (two including the one from the nearest end of the BTS Nana station) near the front entrance to the Landmark.

The overpowering stench of urine will spoil your appetite if you use the pedestrian bridge, cross at the light or the BTS.

A little short of ambiance....OK, a lot short of ambiance but a great steak for very cheap money is the grill within the Market on the 7th level of Central World next to the theaters.

The restaurant grill is located near the meat department and they really know how to properly cook a steak which they serve with a dressed mixed green salad and sauteed mixed vegetables. Choices between 200-250 gr, Thai-French or Australian beef. Prices range from B279 to B400. They also serve grilled fish, chicken or pork and a nice selection of pasta dishes.

You can also select a steak of your choice from the meat case and they will cook and plate it for B99 additional.

There is a very well stocked wine dept nearby and they don't object if you drink at your table.

Just after lunch time is the best time to go. They stop serving around 8 pm.

As I said:...short on atmosphere but a great value.
