Accessing E-mail - In English Script

Hi,

It's been about a year since I was last in Thailand, but will be visiting again in a few weeks. When I'm over there, I sometimes use a public internet site to access my e-mail. First of all, I'm not always in the tourist areas, and quite often the computers are set to Thai script. I can't read it, and quite often when I type in a url like msn.com or gmail.com, it wants to revert to the website with the Thai script. I usually get the english site eventually, after a lot of frustration. Is there anything I can click on in the computer to change the language, so I don't have this problem. Thanks in advance.

At the bottom of the screen near the clock there should be the letters TH (thai). Click on it and EN (english) should pop up . Click on that and the language will change.

It does on my screen anyway.

OK Lite Beer, I'll remember to try that when I get over there. Thanks.

I thought that this only affects the input language from the keyboard but has no effect on the display of web-sites. :o

Could the regional settings help?

The Thai sign TH also allows for regional settings ( I think ) so that when it is changed to EN it SHOULD allow you access English script websites such as MSN.com.

Hopefully. :D

The folks at the internet cafe should be able to help, but often it is the tilde '~' key that switches from Th to Eng
