Which Company Makes The Best Running/jogging/exercise Shoes?

Featured Replies

Another vote for Asics. I have the 12 1/2 wide foot...haven't really found a pair of Nikes that didn't hang off the end of my toes like Bozo's....also Asics are competetively priced and seem to be lighter than most of the other shoes.

Hello my friend

For running shoes, first, the fitting is mostly important. The good fit prevents the risk of injury . Then see the shoes function, motion control, or cushing . Finally compare the shoes, see whose shoes has the best performance cost. Hope that is useful to you.

Numerous marathons in Mizuno. I was a Asics fan for years but found Mizuno much more to my liking.

I have also ran numerous ultramarathons of varying distances, 50k, 50 miler, 100 milers and a couple of 135 milers ( Badwater ). For trail, I use Montrail, various models but loved the 'masai" model ( don't think they're in stock anymore) and for Badwater went through 5 pairs with the most comfortable being the Teva sandal.

It is a personal preference and what feels good for you.

In the US , one of the best is Roadrunner Sports, located in San Diego, California. Great shipping within CONUS and if a VIP member, try 'em out for a period and if no likey, send 'em back.

No FI, but found them to be really a good store to deal with.

AZ, it's Runner's Den on 16th Street/ Missouri ( yep, a former Team Runner's Den team so my loyalties are there..)
