Teeth Whitening In Bkk

Featured Replies

I'll be in BKK in May for a little over a week.  I'd like to get my teeth whitened.  I've read the posts about bleach vs laser and I'm going bleach.  Where is a good place that is reasonable?  I used trays once and still have them, but I'm lazy to start all over again.  I figure, just get them whitened now and use the trays every 6 months for touch up...Plus the cost of enough bleach in the US to whiten my teeth will be about the same as getting it bleached in BKK

I went to the dentist inside the Bangkok Hospital in BKK and he was horrible! I thought he was gutting a goat the way he handled me. Thought I was going to choke, too. He was so rough and the teeth cleaning was horrific, as well. Something about Thai dentists (this one, anyway) that they are not gentle as they are in America. I did, however, find a great dentist in Phuket. He's now my favorite.

The whitening in BKK cost me about 10,000 baht.

I'm not clear when you say you have the trays if you mean just the things sold over the counter (which are not customed fitted) or the custom fitted ones made by dentists for use in bleaching with prescription meds. If the latter then all you have to do is buy the medication which I get for 2about ,000 Baht a tube at the Bangkok Dental Hospital. If you need to have the molds made, that costs more but it's a one time cost and you can use them for years to come (it is necessary to re-bleach from time to time especially iof you drink tea or coffee or smoke)

I was thinking about the teeth whitening where I go to the dentist office to have it done in one visit and not the trays which are done over a two week period....

How much do the custom fitted trays cost and where is the best place in Bangkok to get it done?
