Have been using TaxAct for last 10 years (download version) and very happy with it. But my return rather easy so can not judge how good it would work for more complex returns.

Turbo Tax is GREAT. I'm from US and been using it for the last six years. It automatically carries your infor over from year to year. I've seen the free turbo tax online advertised. My friend told me that the free version is just for the most simple returns, like the "short form" I believe. It's worth paying the 49 bucks or whatever the cost. My friend gives me his copy after he downloads it.

I would recommend it.

It is for EZ type filing from the web site. As a very unhappy ex user of Quicken have no use for there products myself. I believe TaxAct at free is a much better value. I pay for the download version at 10 dollars each year myself as was so impressed with them offering the system without charge.

TaxAct also carries your information foward.

TurboTax does NOT allow online filing if using a non-US address!

I have been playing around with Turbo Tax online and it seems to have a slection for non US address.

This is the online fill in the blanks efile system and not the the disks.

I've been using TurboTax ONLINE for the past 5 years. I'm very happy with it. It has the ability to handle more complex returns and you can put a foreign address. I would assume that you need to choose the correct form for this. If you are filing a 1040EZ it probably doesn't give you the option for an int'l address.
