March 23, 200817 yr First time contribution to this forum, would love to get feedback on this photography.Thx.
March 23, 200817 yr Nice shot and competent manipulation. It does seem a little "flat" though - maybe something like this appeals
March 23, 200817 yr That's fun to add color to part of a black and white picture. The orange robe looks great. The head of the statue blends in with the leave of the trees behind, i think something is needed to show the contrast between them - possible just lightening the trees or maybe a hint of green in the leaves. I suspect you are using photoshop. This is just the kind of picture that the wonderful programs of lightroom and aperture cannot do without calling up lPS with its selections and layers.
March 23, 200817 yr Author Thank you both. I use both Photoshop 7.0 and CS2. I like The Vulcan's correction. However i am concerned that at its original size (3MB) filters would be clearly seen.
March 24, 200817 yr I wonder if there was a different angle to avoid the dark background, or perhaps the use of a flash to light the Buddha image
