"Once upon a time" restaurant.

Very romantic at night, secluded and intimate.

Pechtburi 15 I think it was, near Pratunam Park hotel

I like piano/jazz bars. The "Bamboo Bar" at the Oriental(in the cloister en route to the river) is nice.

I've mentioned this place many times already but I love the ambience, although it might be far.

Buritara located over at Rama 3 (tel. 026829457) Pub&Restaurant beside the river, very nice.

Very nice, but expensive, Italian restaurant on the corner of Ploenchit and Soi Langsuan, called FABB or something like that. I've been there several times. They have a small band wth a singer, great wine and wonderful ambience.

Its on the ground floor in the corner of an office building right beside the skytrain station.

I liked "No Hands Restaurant"

Toy bar is also pretty good. They even provide you with a date if you wish

Another great after dinner place to chill out and very romantic, Distill (same location as Sirocco), beautiful view and nice comfy outdoor bed like sitting area.

Also, Metro magazine has a good guide section of restaurants, bars,pubs etc.....

I liked the Italian on the corner of Langsuan that Burrito mentioned. Went there a couple of times last time in Bkk, stayed at the Mayfair not too far away.

Think will try Buritara by the river next week Sounds a bit cosy.

Tina Bar, Sukhumvit soi 22. Great service*.

Also on Langsuan, soi 3, is a small Thai place ran by a French family called La Lyss. Its in a converted house. Very, very nice place.

If you go there, don't let the dark, lonely street put you off. Its about a 100 meters in on your right.

Cabbages and Condoms, I believe it is called. Should be on Sukhumvit 12 a few hundred meters in at least, if not more.
