smbdy here having information about any possible restrictions to buy or lease land/house on Ko Tao island ?

Smbdy here already posessing land/house ?

Any statistics about Ko Tao Island tourism ?

thx !

Koh Tao, in general ,still have no landpapers yet, so be careful!

I was told that in 2009 the gov. will issue landpapers.

But if you really want to do something there, you can't wait that long, might be sold out by then!

Some say,it's possible to get landpapers before that.

In this hard year for tourism, Koh Tao was far better off than the bigger neighbor-islands Phangan and Samui!

It's not a divers-only island any more.

Look at Koh Tao-Info

or mail that guy directly [email protected]

:o

I met a guy once in Koh Samui who had been selling land in Koh Tao to farangs for quite some time. I asked him how he managed to do this as its a protected national park. He avoided the question. So technically owning land on Koh Tao is illegal. Buyer beware. I would not want to discuss this too openly so I can provide more info offline if you are interested.
