Thai Passport Extension

Featured Replies

My wife's Thai PP is set to expire in October - when we lived in Phuket, Bangkok used to visit to offer a passport service for Thai's once a year.

Does anyone know if a) There is a Thai passport office in CM or :o there is a similar visit by the Bangkok passport office that would offer the extension of passport service.

You can certainly do the application for a passport in Chiangmai.

It takes about 3 - 4 days to get a new passport so they must be done locally.

The office is at the city hall on the Mae Rim road.

Thanks VM for speedy reply John B Good :o

The office at CM City Hall will also do the extension of validity stamp for an additional five years. It is done on the day, and as of last year the whole process took about two hours.
