I got a three entry "TR" visa from the USA on Nov 26,2007 and entered BKK on dec 13, after 2 months I left and returned again and entered BKK on Feb 14, 2008 after another 2 months I left and came back to BKK to use my third entry on April 13th and was told that the Visa had to be utilized before February 25,2008--the immigration officer drew a couple of lines through my visa and then stamped my passport for a 30 day entry rather than the 60 days my visa would have entitled me to receive. It seems like something is wrong as I got a three entry visa each entry good for two months but it does say on the visa that it has to be utilized before February 25, 2008 which is only 3 months after it was issued. what did I do wrong or did immigration stick it to me?

Precisely what it says. To be utilized before 25th Feb. 3rd entry was outside 25th Feb, so you got 30 instead of 60 days as your triple entry visa has expired. There's no stick-up.

...did immigration stick it to me?

No, but the Thai embassy that issued the visa stuck it to you. Normally, a triple-entry tourist visa would be valid for 6 months. When you submitted your visa application, did you indicate the three planned entry dates into Thailand or otherwise give the consulate information about your travel itinerary?

You could have made three entries but all entries have to be made before the visa expiration date. On your last entry you did not have a valid visa and you obtained a visa exempt 30 day entry.

I guess the consulate stuck it to me as they had my itinerary which showed 6 months
