Is it time for a new thread or even two new threads,

One for the nice cheap finds and one for medium price and above?

 

Since Covid we have lost many old places and there are many new gems opening up.

Got to the stage where it is hard to decide where to eat as there are so many good places

but we love trying new ones.

 

But it would be good to have an up to date list of good finds that are open now.

Your thoughts?

Napoli. On a little side soi off the beach road in Patong. Run by two brothers born in Italy, who are half Napolitano, half Thai. Great guys. And an amazing place. Outstanding food, world class pizza and pasta.

 

Also Red Snapper in Karon Beach, also right off the main beach road. Excellent sushi, and I have high standards. Super fresh caught tuna. Everything we had there are good.

Naughty Nuri's in Patong. Best pork ribs in the world for me. I love the Avocado Salad as well. Huge bowl of greens.

Butterfly Bistro at Karon Beach are great. Good local and International food, friendly staff in a nice setting

Any recommendations for a seafood restaurant in the Mai Khao Beach area.

If you're in the Mai Khao Beach area, you're only a short distance from the Sarasin Bridge.   Just on the other side (Phang Nga) of the bridge on the left hand side and next to the sea, is Thanoon Seafood, which I recommend.   Very good seafood, and given its location very few tourists so Thai prices.
