my Gf is going for her 2nd visa soon...........she would of been back in thailand 2 months when she applies again.

she came over on a 6 month multi visitor visa......looks like will go for same one this time around.

although when making the application she stated she was visiting a month, she did actually make full use of her visa and stayed 5 of the months with a trip back to LOs inbetween,(second time she was questioned a lot more at immigration returning to UK,but was still told she was not doing anything wrong)her longer stay was purely due to ..1)her visit to the uk not actually costing me /her that much and 2)her work slowing up and not needing to return promptly.

So i guess my question is,will this have to be explained?what do embassy look at?will it be same scenario,is it easier second time around?

when my friends GF applied about a year ago, second time around, they stated in application before they proved relationship and didnt enter as much info....she got visa.

i also heard about getting visa same day on some cases, sure these where second and third time around cases

any advice guys much apreciated.,

hi, i could be wrong but i dont think i am. your wife gf or any one else is only allowed one , six month tourist visa in any twelve period. your best bet is to start the nightmarte process of a settlement visa, along with all the new hoops yu have to jump through. ichael.

my GF phoned the embassy in bkk.....they told her it was fine to apply again, maybe she didnt state what visa she was gonna be applying for. Intresting...as immigration did say something about applying for fiancee visa next time.

i hope its not true.now im worried.

Wylos,

There is nothing that prohibits your girlfriend from re-applying after only 2 months, so the advice given to you by the embassy is not wrong. However, each application should be considered on its own merits, and the embassy might question why your girlfriend now wishes to visit the UK again when she only recently left. Essentially, once it begins to seem that the individual is living in the UK on visit visas, the embassy starts to get a bit twitchy. Additionally, a major factor will be what was stated on the application form in relation to the previous visa. If your girlfriend ended up staying longer than declared, the visa officer might question her trustworthiness.

Scouse.
