can anyone tell me if you can return to the UK with your wife with a visitors visa for her so I can work in the UK for 6 months ??

bearing in mind we own a home in thailand and will rent 6 months in the UK ,,,,,will I get a visitors visa for her in these circumstances,,?? I wonder if there is anyone on here with experience in this

It's a feasible proposition, although you will have to show that you have employment in the UK, that it is of limited duration and that you both intend to leave the UK at the end of the 6 months.

Also be aware that the government's consultation on halving the duration of a visit visa to 3 months is still on the backburner and a proposal may be imminent.
