Darkside Dinner Club?

hi All

please don't get bogged down with the topic title its just a work in progress for your consideration

i just thought it might be nice for like minded folks to meet up once a month with other TVer's, darksiders, pattaya dwellers, whoever, for dinner and a few beers somewhere

we could kitty up amongst the attendees

i am no organiser of such things but if others wanted to pick up the gauntlet i would certainly attend, i thought it would be a nice way to meet new friends and maybe discuss a few issues face to face over some food.

could be all guys, or with wives, girlfriends etc

i am sure you will all be full of good ideas and venues

anyway, i have thrown the ball onto the field, kick it around a bit.........

As a suggestion, we could make the Friday night meetings on the Darkside once a month, as a largish % of the regulars are from there (and a few of the irregulars).

Last weeks effort was a little disappointing for the 2 who turned up, or so I was told. So maybe a little closer to home for some of the Darksiders would encourage them to come along. I know it has transport challenges for some but just an idea to make timekeepers idea easier.

As with the Friday night gatherings, a non-gender discrimination policy should be in place. On the Friday nights there are a number of ladies, including some who post here, who come along as regular attendees.

aussiechick come along and we will see if we can have more Aussies than any other nationality in the group again. It all went wrong the other night when Raro's wife rang a couple of her friends to join us, until then we outnumbered the rest.

If you have finished the washing up, cleaned the kitchen and stacked the beer fridge can’t see any reason why you can’t come along. (only joking).
