Just wanna know is Stat dec required for fiance visa application?? Cos the requirement for a person who sign must be of australian PR ot citizen and know both me and my fiance who is in Burma. Since i met my bf when i went to visit burma obviously they dont know him So none of my friend here in australia are qualified to sign the stat dec. If anyone can help me, will be greatly appreciated.

If there are no PR's or citizens of Oz that qualify, you can provide statements from at least two people who do know you both....these must be witnessed according to the law in Burma, failing that you can have the statements signed by anyone who has the same occupation as those in Oz who can witness a Stat Dec.
