Where exactly is Mum Arroy Restaurant situated. How to drive to get there?
Thanks
WCA
Follow Naklua Road all the way from Dolphin Roundabout, right down to the opposite end until you get to a dead end basically. To be honest I've been several times and although the food is OK, the service is terrible.

An alternative that I really enjoy is Rimpa in Ban Ampur, much better and great views.

You should also look out for the triangular neon sign (Pink & Blue with green writing I believe), which unless you can read Thai won't mean anything.

They have another branch in Sriracha opposite the Samitivej hospital, which I found to be better service.

That is the original one, great views around sunset but can get a little warm :o

There is also a branch in third Road between Pattaya Klang and Pattya Nua - on the left side going North.

The one by seashore at Na Klua is one of our favourite places - good, cheap food, and excellent service - even when very busy.

Strange that others have found the service off. :o

The one on third road is also well worth a visit.

I agree. The one in Naklua is also quite trendy for a seafood restuarant (in comparison with the older ones along Jomtien for example). Live music, bustling atmosphere, soft lighting, waves lapping up against the watchamacallit. Try the scallops, tremendous yet cheap! Great place for a first/last date.

There are two Mum Aroy restaurants in Pattaya...

Naklua (best views)

Drive to the end of Naklua road (North of Pattaya) and continue straight out when the road turns and you will come to Mumaroy on your left hand.

3rd Road (best food)

Drive to the small crossing where road to the big new Hollywood Disco is (everyone knows where, just ask any Thai). Right there on the corner you will find Mumaroy.

Their food is great and the prices small!

Mum Aroi in Naklua is great, foodwise, pricewise.

However the last we went, I have to agree, that the service was lousy.

Considering the size of the restaurant, I think they have a hard time to find enough good personnel.

I've been there several times.

Food has always been good.

Price is good.

Staff pleasant.

Service slow when busy (and it's usually busy).

Unpleasant smell when the tide is out.

Plenty of stray dogs on the beach - it does put me off my food to see a dog stooping and straining just below my table, but some of the staff and customers were throwing scraps to them so they won't go away.

I will probably keep going back there from time to time but I think some of the seafood restaurants in Ban Amphur are better.
