hi the was wondering if any one can advise me on something?

I am currently in the uk with my girl friend she has a uk tourist visa and we are wanting to go on holiday to spain in a couple of months time and maybe france. I have been looking a some information the net and cant seem to find any usefull phone no's or any set rules on a thia person obtaining a spanish visa whilst in the uk.

1 point if she is only on a tourist visa and not a resident visa can she apply for the visa at the spanish embassy here in london or would she need to return to bangkok to get this ( if return to bangkok then no point in really me trying)

2 Whaat kind of visa is needed? i have been reading about Schengen visa's not heard much about them tho.

As a general principle, she should apply at the embassy in the country where she normally lives; i.e. Thailand. You can approach either the French or Spanish embassies in the UK, but they might insist that she applies in Thailand.
