I want to buy the Logitech Squeezebox, either the Duet or the Classic version.

I have one here (receiver) .. Had to mail order it in from US though. They can be ordered direct from Logitech website.

Just reading about the Squeezebox Touch in Stereophile Magazine.

Might make a great music server for me.

Never liked these i-pod type compressed files. USB thumbdrive & SD card reader are a nice feature.

Love to buy locally. Will run it through my hi-fi DAC.

Have thought for 10 years that the guy who set up a digital library - with a subscription - available over the net was gonna get rich.

Sounds like Pandora fits the bill. I don't need to own the content - just rent it.
