Singh - no missed it.

Besides,i don't care for Murray as don't most English people as he is on record critising slagging off English people.

Will be happy when Nadal beats him tomorrow :o

Great match - I was worried as I had a lot of money on Murray(outside Thailand, of course) which is going on him against Nadal.

I'm sure he doesn't give a flying fish what English people think of him. My mum knows his mum quite well - she is an arrogant cow seemingly.

The match between Tammy vs Venus just finish half an hour ago.

Tammy lost, 6-4, 6-3.

I'm a little sad :o since this will be her last, she's retiring. At the age of 33, it's time to quit.

As aThai-American like her, I wish her best of lucks for her future.

I'm not a Murray Fanb either, especially after he said he supports anyway wh0 plays against England at Football, still just anothe rjealous Jock, he's not the first & certainly won't be the last.. :o

Was an amazing match though honestly..

He'll get smashed by Nadal tomorrow though..

That's it,i knew it was something like that.

All those degenerates supporting him at Wimbledon should be suitably ashamed.

I am American and would normally have been rooting for Venus, but in this case, I was kind of pulling for Tammy.

You'll still say he's British when he does well, won't you. Are you English? Your name and writing suggest otherwise.

Kind of like asking the Iraqis want the USA to lose to whoever they play. :D

Too much information! :o

Hahahahahahahahahaha. Personally, I've been pulling for Zheng Jie. She's really very... erm... spunky... Watching the (Serena) Williams game right now. And if I see another f**king Thai Airways advert somebody at Star Sports is going to die...

No i won't because i'm English, not British, there's a difference that you're obviously oblivious to.

My name might suggest otherwise ?? You will find over 1,000,000 Singh's in Greater London alone, with this particular one being born & raised in London, so you're talking out of your bottom with regards to that & you don't seem to know a great deal about Britain or England.

When i don't know a great deal about things, i tend not to write or say anything to save myself from looking a little stupid.. :D

& just to clarify " Kind of like asking the Iraqis want the USA to lose to whoever they play " sorry, what language is that ?? :D

If you want to have a pop at my use of the English Language, getting your English writing skills up to scratch first would be a good idea i think..

Have a nice day now... :D

I obviously don't know about the UK, England in particular, if there are 1 million Singhs in London. When I was in Amritsar, I met that many -real nice people especially around the Golden temple but a bit aggressive. The UK has obviously changed - it used to be white people who used rascist terms such as 'Jocks'. Kind of the same as myself insulting Thai Chinese. :D

Have you been there lately ?? :D Ok it probably is less than 1m but i'd honestly say there are somewhere between 400k - 800k Singh's in Greater London & the Surrounding Counties/Home Counties, that's more like it.. :D

Racist term Jock, grow up & stop being so embaressingly PC, racism is a problem & the problem is made worse by people like you who jump all over like a P*g around sh*t... :D

You didn't see me making a song & dance of some banter the other day when someone insinuted about me eating an Indian Curry had more to do with a Toilet problem i had, over a Thai Curry did you ?? :o

Ask Jockstar if he feels the term " Jock " is racist, he might be able to shed some light on it..

Anyway, back on topic, anyone else hope the Tartan Tart gets battered by Nadal today ?? :D

Same here, I always rooting for the US, but only this time it was for Tammy. Maybe I felt it was her last, so I want her wins a grand slam just once . it means the world to any tennis player to own one. Venus already owned 6 (?). More comming since Venus won't be quiting another few more years.

Thai "bird" runner-up in Wimbledon girl's singles. Congrats.

Noppawan loses final at Wimbledon

Thailand has new budding champion

Thai junior tennis player Noppawan Lertcheewakarn failed to win the final of the girls' singles at Wimbledon in England late last night. Noppawan, 16, lost to Briton Laura Robson, 14, 3-6, 6-3, 1-6. It was a fine showing for the Chiang Mai girl who is known as ''Nok''. In the first set Robson needed just one break of serve to take the set. Despite having a much slower serve, Noppawan held serve throughout the second set, breaking Robson at 2-all and again at 5-2 to send the match into a final deciding set.

Using her big serve and forehand and with the partisan crowd behind her, Robson blitzed the Thai in the final set for a well-deserved victory.

''Tammy [Tanasugarn] gave me some tactics playing on grass. I really want to win a trophy and be in the Champions' Ball with Federer,'' Noppawan had reportedly said before the match.

Wimbledon marks a stellar rise for the young Thai who won her first senior event, on the Challenger's Tour in Indonesia, in May. She is currently the top ranked junior girl with the Asian Tennis Federation and 4th ranked in the world.

From starting to play tennis as a five-year-old, her first big opportunity came when she was discovered by Ric Fowler, an American living in Chiang Mai.

Mr Fowler created a non-profit foundation (www.ricofoundation.org) that among other objectives was to provide long-term funding for a youth tennis programme.

He spotted her playing tennis on the hospital courts where her mother worked as a nurse and after observing her rapid progress, he contacted a coach from Germany and the foundation began sponsoring Noppawan to train seriously and travel abroad. She is now sponsored by the Petroleum Authority of Thailand and is coached by Rung-rit Takong.

I think they both played well and have a future in the next couple of years with the right sort of coaching.
