As you say - a quick snap shot. You could do many things to improve/enhance this image if you intended to make a print of it, but in the context of the submission it's a very nice shot for a quick snap. It would, of course, been a lot better if the child was forward facing, but that's the spin of the coin in this case.

There's plenty of tonality and detail there to really work on it and make it a "keeper"
