Yes, it's a real one. Note though that it is only good for a SINGLE ENTRY so, if you wish to leave the Kingdom and return you must obtain a re-entry permit.

Also it is single entry so although you will get a one year permitted to stay stamp on entry if you have to travel outside of Thailand you must obtain a re-entry permit first to keep that one year stay alive.

After 90 days in Thailand you will have to notify immigration of your address using TM.47 form and do so every 90 days if you remain in the country.

The Dates on the Visa - June and Sept 2008 - show the VALIDITY of the Visa

That is the dates between which you must USE the Visa to ARRIVE in Thailand.

They are NOT the dates of your stay.

Upon arrival in Thailand at Immigration the Officer will stamp your Passport with a permission to stay stamp

which should allow you to stay for ONE YEAR from the DATE OF ENTRY.

Check your Pasport before leaving the Immigration Counter to check that you have indeed

been given permission to stay for one year.

During the last month of your period of stay - you should process an extension for your next one year stay.

Please check other posts on the Forum for the Documentation you will need.
