kkengvibul Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Hello there! I will be flying to the UK this September and I am planning my student visa application. Although the university course starts towards the end of September, I will arrive at the UK during the beginning of September as I am going on a European tour. The tour starts from London and ends at London. What I am not sure about is whether my student visa would allow me to leave and reenter the UK. (I am going on a tour called COSMOS and most of the travelling will be on a coach - I am not sure if my passport will be checked at all.) Do I also need to use the VAF1 form for visitors? or is the VAF3 form for students enough? (I am also applying for Schengen visa through the French embassy.) Please help me out! Thank you! kkengvibul ps. I've looked on the British Embassy website; it wasn't very helpful.
the scouser Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Your student visa will be good for multiple entries to the UK, so there's no harm in you entering the UK on your student visa, going on your tour, and then returning to the UK to begin your studies. Scouse.
