Hiring Stretch / Limousine In Bangkok

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)
Hi,

Just wondering if it is possible to hire a stretch/limo in Bangkok?

Also, if you know any websites that would be great.

Thanks

I was going to make an Essex joke, but then I Googled ''stretch limo bangkok'' (pretty much your question) and got 118,000 hits. Weird, eh?

[edited in the word ''got'' in case there was any confusion]

the problem is, you can try any one of those links and i bet you they are not stretch limousines for hire, rather just 'limousines' in which, for some reason not known for me, Thailand regard as normal cars? (like normal cars you would find in UK for private taxi companies)

I know a honest german guy who rents minivans. If you want I can get you in contact, maybe he know about stretch limousines.

I am in the US right now for business, and one sidebar we are doing is looking for used Rolls Royces to bring back to Thailand for limo service.  I relaize a Rolls is not a stretch limo, but I wonder if the market ofr these would extend to the expat community as well as the hotel market we are currently targeting.

Have you made any enquiries about the huge amount of import tax that you will be clobbered with?

Best of luck with your venture but I think its dead in the water.

Most of the truly 5 star+ hotels already have their own limos. I know the Central Soffitel (at Lad Phro) has a couple of Rolls or Bentleys. Oriental uses at least one Rolls that I have seen.

Besides, you do realize that a car imported from the US will be left hand drive and very hard to navigate around Bangkok?

I know the OP has made a point to this post, but I feel the need to as well.

If your ganna be a smart ass with your 'uber internet knowledge', check the links you find in google... Anyone with a half brain realizes Thailand calls normal cars limos, so yes it is very hard to find a real limo service through Phuket. I have spent much time looking.

Think before you post mate, you just make your self look like a turd
