November 7, 200421 yr I think you must actually be D.B. Cooper looking for investment ideas. You'd be an old geezer by now though. I took my chunk and bought a condo in thailand. It's already gone way up in value after only one year. I'm happy with my investment. It wasn't $100,000 though; less than that. No matter where you are real estate is always a good investment, unless it's a 30 acre plot in Cheyrnoble, Russia.

Obrien's is fine but I miss Denny's 'grand slam' breakky at 2 a.m. after the clubs shut (real world). OTOH, a franchise like those would probably exceed the 100k usd limit for this exercise... There used to be a Denny's on Sukhumvit a few years back. It had fairly good breakfasts, but sadly it went out of business.
