my experience with changing tickets (Royal Jordanian) was that you are charged for a new date and charged again if you change the 'changed' date once more..

best thing would be to go see them in person... (as i did)

China Airlines office in Bangkok is...

4Fl., The Peninsula Plaza, 153 Rajadamri Rd.

i did! ci ha s a business to run you do as they say or go somewhere else.

they r very accomodating. not their fault for yr indecisiveness.

yes i undertand fully there have a business to run but its there incompetant answers that makes me angry, all i want to know is do i have to keep paying 3k to change because i dont know when i will return as yet due to personal problems.

I think the answer is 'yes'.

If you fly business they let you change without cost

and even let you change several times, my experience.

Hi Paul

I had to change my travel ticket dates three times and my wife changed hers just the one time, this was with Emirates and I was charged £75 EACH time yet my wife did not have to pay to have her ticket changed (on the same flight as me) because....... you guessed it, she is Thai!

Robbing b.....ds! As a result I vote with my wallet and dont fly with Emirates any more.

I think you will be charged each time you change your ticket and if oyu are not then consider it a bonus, hope you have a nice flight anyway

Listen up! Change the travel date TODAY to a date well in the future, say 4 months away. Then, when you finally get your <deleted> together and do decide when it's really time to leave, you change it again and pay the 3000 baht ONE TIME when you leave.

The Lady i keep getting through to is a joke, she certainly not Thai, even my Thai is better than hers. And she work in Bkk,what a joke.

China Air is very accomodating. I didn't think they charged anything, but they are much more flexible than the US carriers. I would call them and cancel the flight you're on now. Pick a return date (I don't think you can say I don't know when), and change it again if you have to. Just act stupid, and they'll just sigh and help you. I'm more interested in why you can't decide when to leave.
