Banglamung - go along Sukhumvit past BPH and you will come to a small park with municipal buildings about 100 metres back from Cuk. (on the beach side)

They open about ten - sometimes they even switch the computers on by eleven.

I wonder if anyone can tel me where the local one is and its opening hours and tel no please.

Thanks all

Commo0n Humph,

They have completely remodeled the district office, and the workflow revamped. You can now be in and out in 30 minutes. Really opens at 8 Am.

Registering a mariage , be sure to have all your documents from your embassy and certified by the foreign minister.

Richard, make sure you bring some small baht coins, 5's and 10's as they will invariably want a photocopy of something and the nice lady at the copy machine doesn't give change.

Like barry says its quick. I was in and out in about 45 minutes, did it late on a Thursday or Friday morning then went off for noodles, real romantic eh?

I must say I have know this couple for awhile and what a couple they are. My best wishes for a happy marrage. :o
