August 11, 200817 yr Royal Flora OTOP festival with concerts and the like on the 14th, 15th.looks like they are finaly starting to use the area for something. There was an OTOP Fair at the end of last month. I went to one a while ago and although I agree it's good to have place used for anything, the affair I attended was a bit half hearted and couldn't seem to decide who it was aiming at. Some vendors who looked as if they were trying to export had no prices, no literature, no English and others seemed to be just out to attract locals with (very good) cut price plates and vases. They have several OK looking concert areas so that sounds promising. They need something going on every week to make something of the place and there seems to be a sorry lack of imagination and management.
August 11, 200817 yr Author I agree with you 100%. Great venu but not even used at all to it's potencial. I hope that they have woken up and are starting to see this. The car race, the last otop thing and now this one. Lets hope this continues, its a great area.
