Where Is The Boomerang Bar In Chiang Mai?

Is there even a bar named boomerang? I have been told its near the US embassy but I cant find it on the web and no reference to it on the web. Thanks with any help.

And Pit Stop? Some weeks ago here on tv The Pit Stop Bar was mentioned in connection with the car race meeting around the former Royal Flora Rachapruak site just off Irrigation Canal Rd.

Cruised around there twice since, trying to find it with no luck. Is it still open, is it The Pits or what? Really detailed location advice (old fashioned words, not gps please) would help me a lot, thanks, and may subsequently help the owner.
