Hi,

Just wanted to know how much is the entrce fee to Dreamworld? My nieces are going here for a week vacation and I'm planning to take them there as I heard it's nice. I checked their website but no info on the rates.

Thanks in advance.

I went there in May but don't remember exactly.. They have dual pricing. Thais are about 180. Foreigners about 400, but we have more included. Loads of decent food available for normal prices.

No, it does not include Snow Town.

And before you go into Dream World where farang pay is not the same place Thais pay. I queued up at the pay desk near the entrance only to be shouted at by a uniformed goon "Hey! farang pay over there" with a wave of his hand towards the entrance turnstiles. There was no sign of a pay desk so we went into the enquiry office to ask, and there it was. They deal with group bookings and farangs. But there's no signs telling you this. (Or at least there were not in March this year)

But that initial unpleasentness apart we had a great day and your family will enjoy it. Well worth the money.

I went last year and dual pricing did exist. Think it was about 220 for Thais and 400 for farang. I had heard that like many places if you showed your WP you would get the Thai price. I didn't have one at the time and said that i'd forgot it. The woman then kindly asked me if i had a thai bank card to which i replied yes i had. She let me in for the Thai price.

PS I think last entry to the snow zone is 2.30pm and yes you have to pay extra maybe 150/200 baht, but i've heard it's worth it!

Snow town is more like Ice town, but it's an experience for Thais who haven't felt cold. It also gets you out of the heat for a while.

If you wear glasses, you'll want to take a lens cloth as they will fog up the instant you step back out into the humidity.

In Bangkok, Dreamworld is about as good as it gets. I have been there at least 10 times. If you go on the Grand Canyon ride you and your nieces WILL get wet, so be prepared on that one. I pay the farang price and normally I would get upset about that, but when you are with your kid(s) the extra one or two hundred baht isn't such a big deal. You just want them to have a good day and they do.

Enjoy it, it is great fun.

There is no dual-pricing at Dream World. When i went with my Thai friends they knew the staff there and stated strongly that they didn't over charge foreigners. We all paid the same:

Basic Entrance Fee: 120baht

All-in-one ticket: 330baht (incudes most rides)

Snow World: 130baht

So, that's 460baht a day if you want to thoroughly enjoy yourself there.

There was when I went in May, but it included more stuff so it probably worked out about the same.

Someothing weird I remember was that when the cablecar go to the end, they didn't let us off.. We had to go back to the start..

It is. There's also go-karts right up the far end.

I'm pretty sure it was running.. There are also a couple of water rides if you fancy a drenching. Probably not before Snowtown though.

Thanks a lot for all the replies.

I also asked my Thia friend about the price and told me there is a dual pricing. But since I have my work permit and Thai account, he said I will only pay as the locals but need to add more for snow town.

Will check it our probabably end of this month and will keep you all posted on the latest.
