Want To Form Or Join A Pool League

Featured Replies

I'm interested in meeting a few other guys and dolls for a few friendly rounds of pool/billiards. If I can't round up a steady group, how do I go about joining one? Thank you.

Depends where abouts you live Jimi.

There are a few leagues going on, best to check in the papers, im sure will know some of the bars names.

Its good fun playing in the league and a free pass on Monday nights.

Many beer bars around Pattaya are in pool leagues so you might find what you are looking for if you enquire in some of the expat oriented bars.

Also there is a large pool hall in the back of Tims a gogo on second road almost opposite the back of Mikes shopping mall. You don't have to go through the gogo bar if that offends your sensitivities, there is a side entrance up the narrow soi leading to Tims hotel.

There used to be a snooker hall on second road near soi 2 but I can't recall much about it except that it was a bit scruffy (and that was 14+ years ago).

Phil, you might be referring to 'The 147 Snooker Hall' just a stones throw from the South Pattaya Traffic Lights where the Police box sits. I do not know if the snooker hall is still there ~ and ascv you say it was certainly scruffy 15 years ago.

It was ever so funny to see the BIB in there merrily gambling away when they should have been on traffic patrol or at least reading their newspapers in the booth on the corner.

When it was raining you could guarantee they would seek refuge in there.

To the OP as 'TheAceFace' says check your local papers for the local leagues.
