Boater Posted September 16, 2008 Share Posted September 16, 2008 In the early hours of Monday Morning, Police Lieutenant Anuwat from Pattaya Police Station was called to the Nuch Apartments located behind the South Pattaya Road market to investigate reports of an attempted suicide involving a foreign man. Arriving at the scene, rescue workers were already attending to Mr. Philippe 52 from France, who was lying in an unconscious state on his bed. Lacerations to his left wrist were evident and a pool of blood was seen on the floor next to the bed. The man was rushed to Hospital under the watchful eye of his girlfriend, Khun Sujee aged 34. She explained to Police that Mr. Philippe was becoming increasingly depressed because Khun Sujee would not stop working at a local Beer Bar. He was sure that she was seeing other men and the pair would often argue over her choice of work. The French Embassy in Bangkok is aware of the case and are now assisting Mr. Philippe who remains in Hospital at this time. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I hope he can get well for his sake. Its wild that there are over 2,000,000,000 billion people in the world and it seems like people get consumed with just 1. It's called love and comes in three variants: Real, Illusionsal and Delusional. The first can be contained with the right therapy but the other two are much more difficult to control and requires the patient's cooperation in order to achieve a full recovery and rehabilitation into society. Ok, I'm sad for this man. Maybe it could be a good idea to ask to administration for setting a public notice in the bars :"Beware. For whatever reason he found himself in this situation - and a relationship has gone bad or was bad at the outset. Agreed,this guy was not in a relationship that was suited to his personality and/or desires,and I hope he recovers,but why do self harm to yourself when he could have simply exited the relationship. Without knowing the whole back ground..try to kill yourself for what?
