September 17, 200817 yr I remember when ThaiVisa started this forum topic. Several people were contemplating quitting. I was one of the unvocal ones and it took me several efforts to sustain a quit. I'll be coming up on 1 year of completely alcohol free in about a month. Getting sober in Bangkok??? amazing. How many other people can claim that this forum topic contributed to quitting the drinking.

I have stopped taking alcohol for 3 weeks now, some people may laugh at the small amount of time , but considering i am a very heavy drinker, to me is immense. Id like to think the forum helped , many views have helped me . Garro especially. Thanks for the 3 weeks and counting , for once in my life i feel free.
