LaoPo
You might think about the fact that around 30% of thai people carry TB, though not all these the highly infectious kind. This is the reason why all visa apps fpr more than tourist visit demand a certificate stating clear of TB for UK ...how do you know..respectively, where did you find this info ? 30% of 65 Million people in Thailand carry TB ?...........19,5 Million people ? The U.K. goverment demands that all Thai nationals who are coming to the UK for moore than 6 months must have a TB check, I know this because my Fiance, now wife, had to have the test. This is the same policy the US has for those seeking visas (fiancee and spouse). Because the test requires a chest X-ray, applicants that are pregnant are given a waiver. G54
All those coughing girls I have kissed. I must be riddled with heaven knows what by now. Maybe I should roll over and die now without further pleasure???? Air con, Rain, Damp, Colds, Flu, Dust. Too many reasons for a girl to cough and I can think of some more that I dare not print but they leave a lady choking from the bottom up!!
thaihome
After a little research I see that Hepatitis doesn't have any symptoms of coughing, but TB does. I made a broad assumption trying to think of which STD's can be spread through salive. At the time, TB didn't come to my mind. I guess the best bet would be TB? Maybe TB didn’t come to mind as a STD because ITS NOT A STD TH

I travel to Thai very often for business and I have a girlfriend there. I learned a lot and understand Thai girls. You are afraid of contacting any disease, what about them? do they have a choice? Some of you guys carries disease into Thailand and they are the one who gets all the blame for, is it fair? If you guys are afraid of that, please behave. Try to understand them, they might look happy but believe me it is diferent inside them. Some of them needs true love that they never get, only those taking advantage of them for sex. I love my girlfriend and we have been together for 6 years. We went through good and bad days together but we never blame anyone. Thai girls are gentle and caring, please treat them as they are. They cough because they smoke and drink alot, try help them to stop. Just my view don't get offended. Have a nice day to all. Jeffrey

zorro1
Ok.... I've taken a lot of girls home in Thailand and I've noticed one particular thing. They cough. The last one told me it was from smoking, but I never saw her smoke the whole night. The girl before that told me that she had a cold... But I didn't see any other signs of a "cold". Sort of scary when you think about it. I think it may be hepatitis. Be careful of kissing the coughing ones because I think a lot of the girls down walking street, go go bars, etc. may have something serious going around. Any comments on this? Never kiss the ones at Lolita's, even if they don't cough

Tod Daniels
This has to be one of the funniest, yet one of the most inane threads on T/V. You gotta love the sincerity in the line: "Be careful of kissing the coughing ones. .. ..." That just about says it all. Good of him to pass out such incredibly helpful information. I may make a t-shirt out of it. Although I am sure it won't out sell the "I met YOUR wife a Nana" shirt.. P/S: After reading the previous post by "orchis" I would say; NEVER EVER kiss coughing taxi drivers. …

Lithobid
I don't know why everybody gets so up and arms about a general observation. We are all human and enjoy sex. If anything, I was bringing it up to maybe make people more precautious. I'm not an MD, but that doesn't mean I don't know anything about the different STD's. You don't need a doctorate degree to be able to read and ask questions. And the truth is, pretty much everybody in the US has herpes (I got this directly from an STD MD). It's just the mouth herpes and most people don't show signs. In fact, most people get it when they're babies and the grandmother or parents kiss the baby on the lips. For the record, I get tested regularly and I am clean. Good advice about the TB though, I'll stay away from kissing. Which I have done anyways since my observation. Hmmmm....... yes, and no offence , but I think the "we" needs to be divided just a little? Bar girl esarn? = working sex/money/family/kids/education? Farang vacation/expat = Fun playtime ? Not passing judgment in the post, but the OP seems to be generalizing for both sides here. Edited October 2, 2008 by Lithobid
Andrew Hicks
How can you make the connection coughing=hepatitis. I don't think you can. Perhaps he meant TB. It's an inane post anyway. Yeah, Jumpstart, you'd better not get your black lead on her negative terminal again or you'll be in trouble. If you've taken lot of them home (???) you're probably in deep shit. There's loads of things you can catch from foreplay and things like that which can't be checked by medical tests and which can be latent for years before they jump out at you and strike you down. Like leptospirosis, haemophilia, claustrophobia, ostelitis, richinosis and genital warts. You'd be far better to call it a day and relax with a novel for the short time that's left to you. And remember the usual advice about taking precautions... always be sure to wear rubber gloves. I hope you have?
sassienie
The simple facts are that anyone who beds a stranger, especially having sex with those in the working sex industry is taking a risk. Stay at home and what porn movies, much cheaper and safer these days. You pays ya money and you gets whats you get.
