i'm about to do the visa run, and i'm not looking forward to it at all.

i want to prepare and protect myself from the constant noise from the stereo and tv.

where can i get some decent ear plugs to cut all that out? what about a cheap noise-reduction headset - are there any around town?

any recommendations welcome.

Home Pro sells foam ear plugs, 2 to a pack, for 10 baht. They're my weapon of choice when the neighborhood temple is holding a maw-lam festival. I've checked out the 'cheap' noise-reduction headsets at Pantip Plaza, they're not comfortable (I think they're sized for Asian heads).
