finewine
This may be a stupid question, but I can't find any information locally. How do you order one lorry load of cement, for a driveway. Is there a telephone number somewhere (in Pattaya). How much cement (cu.m.) can one lorry deliver - minimum and maximum? Thanks

Thanks I don't know where you can find that in Pattaya, but a lorry can deliver up to approximately 7 m3 (cubic meters) each time. I needed 25 m3 a few years ago (2004) and the lorry came 4 times (3 x 7 m3, and 4 m3 only for the last delivery). I'm not certain about the price (I can't remember for sure at the moment) but if I am not mistaken, it was 1300 baht per m3 (including the delivery) then. Rimmer
Order it through your local Homemart shop, they will also advise the correct type, cost and size of load. That is HomeMart shop, not HomeWorks or HomePro shops.

Thanks Here is a scanned page from the Pattaya Survival Guide listing "Concrete Sales" Good luck Sorry for the size of the pic but to get the phone numbers readable I left it full size. finewine
Thanks everyone. Will try the local HomeMart. I had looked in the Pattaya Survival Guide - but for cement! Maybe they should add more synonyms.
