Slip Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 sounds nice...What's wrong with visiting slum hah? I guess any decent minded person would find their 35 mill dinner a bit hard to stomach after visiting a slum.

BigSnake Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Let's face these people are filthy Rich and don't Mine Flaunt it. Oh! well maybe just maybe one of them will slip and fall in a stinky old ditch' "Headline Rich get STENCH"
JoeThePoster Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Lebua has a habit of announcing these publicity stunt dinners now and then. If someone wants to spend their money this way, its up to them. As for visiting slums before or after the meal, this has also been done in other countries - it's called "poverty tourism" and if that is what it takes to get some fat cats to part with some of their wealth - so be it.

AlexLah Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Well I must say that last year the taste of the Almas caviar was a bit dissapointing. However it was gently washed away with a nice glass of Krug Clos du Mesnil.
Huey Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Before everyone starts to hate on the 35million dinner, chances are if they can afford to spend that much on the dinner than they have already done more to help the poor than anyone who commented on this forum. Also, the 35million will probably be made back between 10-100 fold just by the networking going on there. Deals will be made, ideas shared, high end capitalism social event. I'll be there one day
AlexLah Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 All of them, ore just the Bak Si da? I would say: Nuke em, yes all of them.
