Much Slower Thaivisa Opening Pages

Is anyone else experiencing much longer to open up a page for threads in Thaivisa? Just the past two days, this has occurred on my computer, and I don't think it's my computer or operating system; all other sites are opening up normally. In Thaivisa, it seems to be hung up waiting for a subsite called...ads.admaxasia.com.

Anyone else experiencing this delay?

Yes, terribly slow.

Takes 4-6 minutes to open a topic.

However, it happens only from work, where my company's gateway to the world is based in Europe (France).

From home, it goes from Japan and access is normal.

I guess, must be something with the cables to Europe while links to Asia (Japan) are fine.

Only last 2 days (could be last weekend too but then I was accessing from home).

Agree, sometimes very slow to open, sometimes just give up. I don't have a slow internet access.

Yup, seems to get hung up loading "ads.admaxasia.com" on the office CAT connection. fine right now on KSC from home.

Suddenly, all well again. Pages opening much quicker as before. Wonder who did what to whom?

I routinely use various internet cafes in Thailand and this problem seems to be

getting progressively worse. Not sure if it's the new generation of "flash" ads

which often "stall" the page loading but also the "google syndicated ads" seem

to hang-up the pages equally as well. Not everyone has the latest light-speed

gear (In fact I suspect most don't). Opening pages and attempting to navigate

has become so difficult, I've no doubt it's affecting traffic to some degree.

I have no doubt that the Thaivisa servers are running just fine, BUT, the 'other' Thai forum loads fast as do other international sites.

I don't like blocking ads as they often have interesting content (and help keep the site free) but we seem to be getting hung up on ads.admaxasia.com an observation borne out by the speed at which things load when ONLY this site is blocked using the Adblock Plus add-on for Firefox https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865

In this instance the revenue gained is overshadowed by the pain doled out to the users by the crumby speed this provider is er, providing
