bkk airports are rumoured closed today friday for the 3rd day.

I am so sorry for farangs who have no radio or tv channel to pick up news and the websites such as Thaiairways.com and phonelines have imploded due to overuse.airasia and bangkok air say nothing.

The Toc TV channel is useless as their english is incomprehensible.

I am in Pattaya and Pattaya radio has no info whatever-not even a mention on the news-and their listeners are all farang!

So where is a website with uptodate news and flight information?..and that hasnt imploded?

Or is their a tv news channel I have missed or a phone number that will answer.

What flights are being diverted and where?

What airports are open if one could get to them..utupao and phuket come to mind? Do they have any extra or diverted flights? Is Changmai and Changrai open??etc etc.

What are immigration doing about extended overstays?

Are their any rooms available in Bangkok..and where?

Please start blogs to help the thousands of concerned farangs.

The Malaysian site is not updated. It show cancelled only for the morning & afternnon flights in/out of BKK. Their Thai site is already up to date.

I just managed to call them in Malaysia. After holding for 1/2 hours, managed to get through. 1st, they will offer to rebook you. I insisted on a full refund. On hold for 1 minute (I guess he consult his supervisor). OK, refunded. However he warn me that it will take a month before the fund will appear on my credit card. I have no problem with that.
