poolpisser
Moving back to USA in mid-December. Is it better to exchange THB to USD in Thailand or in the USA? I do not want to use an ATM because I'll take a hit on every transaction, I want to transfer all our money to USD in one go. Amount: 200k THB I know the Thai 50k law, so just think 4 people each with 50k -- if it's better to exchange cash in USA. Thank you in advance. Jingthing
Thailand. There is a weak demand for Thai baht in the USA. it being an exotic currency.

Thank you for the reply Jingthing. * * * Two more ? based on Jingthing's response - 1) Is it better to go to a money exchange place in MBK / Central World, or a bank. 2) Could someone give the name/location of specific place that they've dealt with that has been kind to foreigners please? Thank you.
