Whoever it was on this forum who recommended refined rice bran oil, it was a very good recommendation. It makes the food taste better, is healthier, and doesn't sear the food so badly. :o

I don't know, I don't think it was me but we do use it all the time. I don't know if it as healthy as say, soybean oil, but it is a bit cheaper and seems to burn less easily. I've seen sunflower oil in Makro recently I will stick with tthe rice bran oil for now.

I have heard that soy bean oil is genetically modified up the wazoo. Canola is healthy but is following the GM route. I guess GM foods have mixed opinions among experts. I think it is wrong to genetically alter foods to such an extreme.
