I tried to locate an electric carving knife at the obvious places in Chiang Mai. The best I could get from the salespeople (?) was "Bangkok".

Good luck. Please let us know if you have any success.

Cheers.

Has anyone spotted these ? Or even circular meat slicers ? Any leads greatly appreciated..

In the past I think people have mentioned industrial kitchen suppliers, I can't find any reference when searching this site so if anyone knows about those to, that would be great.

Whilst I did not see them in stock (electric carving knives) Bakers Mart about 200 metres south of the Nong Hoi - Superhighway intersection has about the best selection of cooking stuff in town.

Personally I wouldn't waste my dosh on a "electric carving knife"

A good knife and a good steel will win hands down any day IMHO :o

p.s. I think they might have meat slicers there too.................

you.So to make it look a bit cheaper friend also brought out a hand blender as well.

Thanks for all the assistance.
