I wonder if anybody can help, I have bought a new computer and loaded thunderbird onto it, just the same as my old laptop. I now want to move all my old emails over to the new computer, but I cannot seem to be able to do this. It was easy to transfer the email address book but not the file/local folders!!! any ideas please as this is driving me nuts?

There's a couple of automatic programs around, but they don't always work (in my case anyway).

On the following thread it's explained how to do this. Basically you just copy your whole profile onto a removable disk, and move it into the proper profile folder on your new PC.

This way you get an exact copy, including folder structure, e-mails, attachments, and accounts!
